Terms & Privacy
ARK Tournament Survivors is a competitive ARK: Survival Ascended tournament network, operated by ATS Ark Servers LTD. These documents govern your use of our servers, website and Discord. Please read them before taking part. By playing on our servers, buying VIP, or using this site, you agree to the Terms below.
Last updated: 22 July 2026
1. Eligibility and Acceptance
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that is higher, to play on our servers, join our Discord, or make a purchase. If you are under that age, you may only take part with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
By accessing our servers, website, or community spaces, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Continued use after we update these Terms means you accept the updated version.
2. User Conduct and Fair Play
ARK Tournament Survivors exists to provide a fair, competitive experience. Because the integrity of the tournament is the entire point of the network, we enforce conduct rules strictly. You agree not to:
- Use cheats, hacks, aimbots, exploits, unauthorised third-party software, or any bug that grants an unfair advantage;
- Sell, buy, trade, or transfer accounts, in-game items, or tribe positions for real-world value;
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or discriminate against other players or staff;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to our servers or infrastructure;
- Break the specific rules published for each server, the tournament, or our Discord.
We may issue warnings, remove progress, suspend, or permanently ban any account that breaches these rules, at our discretion and without refund. Decisions relating to the tournament, leaderboard, and prize eligibility are made by our staff and are final.
3. Intellectual Property and Branding
The ARK Tournament Survivors name, logo, site design, and original content are owned by ATS Ark Servers LTD and may not be copied or reused without permission.
ARK: Survival Ascended and ARK: Survival Evolved are trademarks of Studio Wildcard. ARK Tournament Survivors is an independent community and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Studio Wildcard. We claim no ownership over their game or trademarks.
Content you submit to our community spaces (for example messages or creator submissions) remains yours, but you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and promote it in connection with the tournament.
4. Payments, Refunds, and Third Parties
The only paid product we offer is VIP queue access (VIP and Ultimate VIP). VIP provides priority or guaranteed access to a full server. It provides no gameplay advantage and no leaderboard benefit. We do not sell kits, resources, stats, dinos, or any item that affects competitive play.
Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Tip4Serv, and their own terms and privacy policy also apply to your purchase. We do not receive or store your full card details.
VIP is sold as a fixed-term (30 day) access pass. If a purchase is not delivered because of a technical fault on our side, contact us and we will deliver it or refund it. Outside of that, because access is a digital service that begins immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable once the benefit has been granted, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer law.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us first may result in the loss of VIP and a ban from the network.
100% of VIP revenue is contributed to the tournament prize pool. ARK Tournament Survivors is operated on a not-for-profit basis.
5. Server Changes, Wipes, and Availability
Competitive ARK relies on scheduled wipes and seasons. You acknowledge that servers are wiped on a published schedule and that all in-game progress is temporary by design. We may add, change, merge, or retire servers, and adjust rates, rules, or the tournament structure, to run the season.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Servers may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. VIP does not guarantee continuous uptime.
6. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for a breach of these Terms or the server rules. You may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion of your account data as described in the Privacy Policy.
If your account is terminated for a rule breach, any active VIP is forfeited without refund.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ATS Ark Servers LTD is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including loss of in-game progress. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands and applicable European Union law. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
9. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected] or raised in our Discord.
1. Who We Are
ARK Tournament Survivors is operated by ATS Ark Servers LTD, which is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. Information We Collect
- In-game identity. When you connect and play, the game server reports the player and tribe identifiers used to place you on the leaderboard, across PC (Steam), Xbox and PlayStation. No account sign-in or login is required to play or be tracked.
- Gameplay data. In-game statistics, tribe and player names, and results, used to run the leaderboard and tournament.
- Purchase data. When you buy VIP, our payment provider Tip4Serv shares transaction metadata (such as the product bought and a transaction reference). We do not receive your full card number.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and device information, and server logs, collected automatically for security and to operate the service.
- Discord data. If you join our Discord or link it, we process the account information Discord makes available to us.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and secure the servers, website, and your account;
- To run the leaderboard, tournament, and prize distribution;
- To deliver and support VIP purchases;
- To detect and prevent cheating, abuse, and fraud;
- To communicate with you about the service and respond to requests.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
We process your data on the basis of: performance of a contract (providing the service and your VIP), legitimate interests (security, anti-cheat, and running a fair tournament), consent (where required, such as certain cookies), and legal obligation (where the law requires us to keep or disclose data).
5. Disclosure of Your Information
We share personal data only with the providers needed to run the service, including Tip4Serv (payments), Nitrado (game server hosting), Cloudflare (DNS, CDN and security), DigitalOcean (website hosting), and Discord (community). Each processes data under its own policy. We do not sell your personal data.
We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the network and its players.
6. International Data Transfers
Some of our providers operate outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). Where data is transferred outside the EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent mechanism.
7. Data Retention
We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active and as needed to run the tournament and its records. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed, or on a valid deletion request, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact [email protected].
If you are in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, such as the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
9. Cookies and Local Storage
We use only a small amount of browser local storage to remember preferences, such as whether interface sounds are on. There is no login, so we do not set a sign-in cookie. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
10. Security
We protect data with measures including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted access to our systems. No online service can be guaranteed fully secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
11. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above. Significant changes may also be announced in our Discord.
12. Contact Us
For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].
This document outlines core rules. Use common sense. If you are unsure, do not do it. For clarification, submit a report via the official ATS Discord "Report/Ticket system".
1. Hacking and Exploiting
Absolutely no hacking, exploiting, or use of third-party tools is tolerated.
- Hacking: Any third-party programs such as bots, ESP, aimbots, or unauthorized game engine modifications are strictly forbidden.
- HWID Ban Evasion: Any attempt to access the ATS cluster after receiving a hardware ID ban will result in an immediate re-ban and possible escalation to permanent system-wide bans.
Exploiting. Prohibited actions include (but are not limited to):
- Attacking, traveling, or building in unintended areas (under mesh / above map);
- Duplication of tames, items, or characters;
- Crashing servers or players (e.g. via DDoS);
- Excessive placement of C4 to prevent enemy C4;
- Stacking creatures inside each other to prevent targeting or damage;
- Floating structures or platform saddle extensions that bypass building limits.
- Tribe / Alliance Accountability: If you associate, ally, or team up with hackers or exploiters, you are equally responsible. Remove them immediately or face disciplinary action.
- Hack-Related Discussion: Any discussion or mention of cheating, hacks, or exploits is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.
2. Griefing and Blocking
Spawn Blocking. Any intentional interference with player spawns will result in removal and bans. This includes:
- Structures that trap new players at spawn;
- Spike traps or turrets near spawn zones;
- Aggressive dinos placed to kill spawning players;
- Dino gates or cages that prevent movement.
Cave Building (Stego rule). You may build in a cave only if a Stegosaurus can walk in through the entrance. If a Stego cannot fit through the entrance, building in that cave is prohibited. Rat hole building is prohibited everywhere.
3. Misconduct and Player Interaction
All player behavior must adhere to the highest standard of decency and respect.
- Do Not Offend: No use of language or content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, obscene, sexually explicit, racially or ethnically offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Chat Disruption: No spamming or flooding the chat system. No macros that disrupt gameplay.
- No Promotion: You may not advertise or promote third-party services, scams, RMT, or any out-of-game trades.
- Real-Money Trading (RMT): Strictly forbidden. All trades must occur within the game using in-game items or creatures only.
4. Names: Player, Tribe, and Platform
All names must be appropriate and visible.
- Offensive Names: Any name containing vulgarity, hate speech, obscenity, or sexual or inappropriate language will result in renaming or bans.
- Impersonation: Pretending to be ATS staff or an admin is strictly forbidden. Admins are clearly marked with a verified logo.
- Visibility: Names using invisible or special characters to avoid detection are not allowed.
5. Ban Appeals
No appeals will be accepted for the following violations:
- Hacking, exploiting, or aiding hackers;
- DDoS or any network disruption;
- Real-Money Trading (RMT);
- Doxxing or threats.
All other bans must be appealed through the ATS system directly.
6. General In-Game Policy
- No Cheating or Hacking, Ever: Using any third-party software, including aimbots, wallhacks, or any cheat tools, will result in an immediate and permanent ban. No exceptions.
- No Impersonation: Impersonating server staff or other players is strictly forbidden and will lead to instant disciplinary action, including possible bans.
- No Exploiting Glitches or Bugs: Exploiting any game bugs or glitches for personal gain is prohibited. Offenders will be punished severely. Always report glitches to admins immediately.
- No Toxicity or Harassment: Excessive toxicity, harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse will not be tolerated under any circumstances and will result in swift punishment.
- No Spamming or Advertising: Spamming, advertising other servers, or promoting any products or services will lead to immediate removal from the server.
7. Game Ban Policy
- Ban Age Requirement: You are only eligible to play ATS if every one of your Game Bans is at least 100 days old. Any ban younger than 100 days disqualifies you from our tournaments immediately.
- Maximum Number of Bans: Players with more than 3 active Game Bans are permanently banned from playing ATS. No exceptions.
- Enforcement and Penalties: Any attempt to circumvent these rules, including falsifying ban status or accounts, will result in immediate and permanent banning without warning or appeal.
8. Association Policy
- Association: Playing with any user who currently has, or previously had, a cheating violation will result in an automatic Association Ban on your account.
- Player Responsibility: It is your sole responsibility to ensure you do not play with anyone flagged for cheating, either currently or in the past. Lack of awareness is not a valid defense.
- Repeat Violations: Users who repeatedly associate with banned cheaters will face escalating punishments, including extended ban durations or permanent bans.
- Collective Accountability: All parties involved in these associations are subject to the same disciplinary actions, regardless of direct involvement in cheating.
9. Poaching Policy
- Definition of Poaching: Any attempt to recruit, solicit, or persuade players to leave this server by any means, including private messages, in-game chat, community forums, social media, or any platform, is considered poaching. Offering incentives, benefits, or promises of a better experience is included.
- Zero Tolerance Rule: Poaching ATS players or members is categorically banned, with no warnings or second chances.
- Severe Consequences: Immediate, permanent ban for anyone caught poaching. Anyone found to be associated with poaching activities, whether by aiding, abetting, or knowingly participating, will receive the same permanent ban.
- Collective Responsibility: We hold all parties involved accountable. Association or cooperation in poaching will be treated as a direct violation warranting identical punishment.
- Poaching Ban Appeals: Poaching bans are final and non-negotiable.
10. Competitive Staff, Director, and Affiliates Policy
To protect the integrity of the ATS community and prevent conflicts of interest, we enforce a strict policy regarding affiliations with competing servers, communities, or organizations. This policy applies to anyone connected, directly or indirectly, with a competitor.
- No Targeting ATS or Its Players: Any attempts to harm ATS or encourage our players to join competing communities, whether by sharing competitor content, promoting rival servers, or any similar actions, are not allowed and will lead to serious consequences, including bans.
- Roles Allowed: If you accept any staff or leadership role in a competing server or community, you will be removed from the ATS network immediately. This helps us avoid conflicts of interest and maintain fairness.
- Disclosure of Affiliations: We expect honesty about any connections to competing servers. Known affiliations, even informal support or representation, may result in a network-wide ban to protect our community.
- No Collaborations with Competitors: Working together or partnering with competing servers in any way, official or unofficial, is not allowed and will lead to immediate removal.
- Content Creator Exemption: Independent content creators are welcome to cover other servers, games, and communities as part of their normal channel activity. Making videos or streams about competing servers does not, on its own, count as targeting ATS, promoting a rival, or an affiliation under this policy. This exemption does not cover disparaging ATS, actively recruiting ATS players to a competitor, or holding a staff or leadership role at a competing server.
Enforcement and Appeals. Violations will be met with prompt action, usually resulting in removal from the network. We value fairness but maintain strict standards to protect all of our players. Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but please understand that violations involving competing servers are taken very seriously.
11. Network Association Policy
- Permanent Network-Wide Ban: If any account on your network, including all household members, friends, visitors, or any device sharing the same IP, is banned for any violation, the entire network is permanently banned from accessing ATS. This applies to every current and future account originating from the network, without exception.
- Absolute Prohibition on Shared Access: Banned individuals must not allow any person, including siblings, relatives, roommates, or guests, to play ATS using the same network or internet connection. Failure to comply will result in immediate permanent bans for all associated accounts and devices, regardless of account age or prior standing.
Ban Evasion. Any attempt to circumvent network bans, including but not limited to:
- Using VPNs, proxies, or anonymizers;
- Creating alternate accounts or using burner accounts;
- Changing hardware or MAC addresses to mask identity;
- Accessing the game from any network previously banned under this policy;
will be treated as ban evasion and will lead to permanent, irrevocable bans on all related accounts and devices, with no exceptions.
- No Appeals or Exceptions: Due to the inherent risks and impossibility of fully verifying identities on shared or masked networks, all network bans issued under this policy are final, non-negotiable, and non-appealable.
- Strict Monitoring and Enforcement: We employ advanced monitoring to detect network sharing, ban evasion, and repeated violations. Any suspicious activity connected to a banned network will trigger immediate review and enforcement.
Your entire network is 100% accountable for the actions of every user within it. Any violation by a single user leads to a permanent, network-wide ban with no chance of reversal.
12. Doxxing Policy
ATS enforces a zero tolerance policy regarding any form of doxxing. This includes the unauthorized collection, sharing, or solicitation of personal information with the intent to harass, intimidate, or harm any individual.
Prohibited Conduct.
- Publicly sharing or soliciting any personally identifiable information (PII), including but not limited to full legal names, home or physical addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts or profiles, or any information capable of identifying or locating an individual;
- Using any information obtained through ATS or related communities to conduct or facilitate doxxing or any form of targeted harassment, both inside and outside the community;
- Encouraging, instigating, or aiding others to engage in doxxing, or creating an environment that promotes or incites such behavior.
Mandatory Reporting. All community members are obligated to immediately report any suspected or confirmed doxxing incidents to ATS moderators or administrators. Failure to report known doxxing activity will result in disciplinary action, including potential bans.
Severe Consequences. Any individual found engaging in doxxing, facilitating doxxing, or knowingly remaining silent about doxxing incidents will be subject to immediate and permanent banning from all ATS servers and affiliated platforms without warning or appeal, and possible escalation to legal authorities if warranted.
ATS is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and secure environment. We enforce this policy with the utmost severity to protect every member's privacy and well-being.
13. VPN Policy
- VPN Usage Prohibited Under 250 Hours: Any player with fewer than 250 hours is strictly forbidden from using a VPN under any circumstances. No exceptions will be made regardless of latency, connection issues, or any other factors.
- Whitelisted Services Only: Only approved cloud gaming services, such as GeForce Now, are allowed to bypass this restriction. Use of any other VPN or proxy service will be treated as a violation.
- Violation Consequences: Players found using a VPN in violation of this policy will face immediate sanctions, including potential temporary or permanent bans, depending on the severity and frequency of the offense.
- Dispute Process: If you believe you have been wrongfully flagged for VPN usage, you may submit a formal support ticket. All claims will be thoroughly reviewed, but submitting a ticket does not guarantee reversal of sanctions.
14. Staff Ban Integrity Policy
- Right to a Different Reviewer: If you are banned, you have the right to request that your ban appeal be handled by a different staff member than the one who issued your ban. This ensures fairness and prevents bias.
- How to Submit a Second Appeal: You must open a new ban appeal ticket to request a second review. In your new appeal, you must explicitly ask for a different staff member to handle your case. Appeals not following this process will be rejected.
- Finality of the Second Appeal: If the second staff member agrees with the original ban, your ban is confirmed and you must serve the full remaining punishment. No additional appeals beyond the second review will be accepted.
- No Self-Review: The staff member who issued your ban will never handle your ban appeal, to maintain impartiality.
- Strict Enforcement: Failure to follow these procedures will result in your appeal being denied. Abuse of the appeal system, or attempting to bypass these rules, may result in additional sanctions.
Ban decisions are final after two impartial reviews. No exceptions.
15. Global Policy: No Exceptions
By connecting to any ATS server, you are entering a zero-tolerance environment where all rules are strictly enforced. Every action is monitored. By playing, you accept these terms in full, permanently.
- Mandatory and Unconditional Compliance: No player is above the rules. It does not matter who you are, how long you have played, what you have donated, or who you know. Every rule applies to you without exception. Attempting to bypass this system will result in a permanent network-wide ban.
- Policy Changes Are Binding: Policies may change at any time. When they do, they apply to everyone immediately. You are personally responsible for staying up to date. "I did not know" is not a valid excuse.
- Network-Wide Enforcement Authority: If you break a rule on any ATS server, your punishment applies on every ATS server. Alt accounts, VPN usage, or "new starts" will be treated as ban evasion.
- Support Policy: If you believe there has been a mistake, you must use the official support ticket system. Staff will not respond to DMs, pings, or side channels. Unsolicited messages to staff may result in a ban for harassment.
Zero tolerance. Zero favoritism. Full enforcement. Joining any ATS server confirms your agreement to all terms above. ARK Tournament Survivors is not just a server, it is a secured network. Play responsibly.
